Akua Tandoh is Programs Coordinator at HM2R. She holds a first-class honours BSc. degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Human Nutrition (Public Health) from London Metropolitan University (UK).
Akua joined the team at HM2R in 2016 with a thirst for knowledge and the desire to extend the frontiers of health and nutrition research in Ghana and beyond. Her past research interests have focused on maternal and child nutrition outcomes and strategies to deal with micronutrient deficiencies of public health concern.
With an eclectic work experience, Akua has a good mind for management and a talent for organization. Prior to joining HM2R, Akua managed the Claims Unit at Nationwide Medical Insurance (Ghana). She has also previously worked at Chase Farm Hospital (UK) and the Student Services Department at London Metropolitan University (UK).
